Maddux's 4th Birthday

Maddux just celebrated his 4th birthday. He is getting so big and so are his stories. He has developed a big imagination that usually includes stories about him hunting or playing some sort of sport.

He loves playing basketball so we got him this one for his birthday. He has a small hoop that is now attached to the net on our tramp where he likes to go play tramp ball.

His birthday was on Monday so we had his party on Saturday. This was his first friend party. It was all about superhero's.

Wayne found this HUGE spider man pinata and it was fun.

It ended up being really hot so we sent out a text and had them bring their suits and got the water slide going for the first time this year.

Malie's end of year choir concert

Malie was able to start participating in the school choir this year and had her end of year choir concert where they sang all the songs they have been practicing all year. My parents came down and watched. It was really fun to see all the kids singing.

Soccer 2010

This was the first year all 3 kids have played soccer. As I was getting the pictures for this post I realized WE NEVER TOOK ANY PICTURES OF MADDUX PLAYING! I shouldn't say "we" because Wayne was his coach so it was my job to do it and I guess I never did and now the season is over and NO PICTURES! Well he loved playing and made a few goals and was smiling the whole time. We do pay our kids for goals....wrong maybe but it really gets them motivated and its only $1 a goal. Malie was on an all girls team with some of her friends.

It was fun watching them get some more skills down and start playing as a team.

Averie was the surprise this year. She was really aggressive and after her first goal she ran off the field during the game and yelled at Wayne "you owe me a dollar" and gave him a high five.

Love watching my kids play and I can't wait till fall when we can do it again! and this time maybe there will be pictures of Maddux

Family Easter 2010

Every year my parents hide 2 eggs for the adults to find and me and Crystal found them. Hers was in the Hummingbird feeder and mine was painted white and it was in the fridge in the egg carton. Thanks for the $20 Mom and Dad!

One of the best parts of Easter is the amazing food we have.

The kids had so much fun with their cousins. This was their first Easter together.

My mom gets a little out of control with the baking. She even had a make peep rabbits on straws for the kids to put in their drinks.

These are the rabbit cupcakes with sugar dipped marshmallow ears! I didn't get any pictures of the sugar cookies that were decorated like eggs.

This was a rabbit make out of dough that we filled with dip.

We even wrapped out silverware to look like carrots.

And this is what it looked like when it was all together on the table. Wayne wanted to know if he was suppose to look at it or eat it, it just looked to good to eat.
