Thankful!!

I was thinking today how lucky I am to be blessed with such a great family and friends. Wayne is a great husband. He is always there to help with the kids or around the house and he seems to always know when I feel like I am drowning with things that I need to accomplish during the day and will just start doing dishes or making dinner or will just take the kids outside to play. I know that I would be crazy by now if it wasn't for him and the way he is able to deal with me and save me during the most hectic of days. My kids are all so different and I love watching them grow and they keep me on my toes everyday and make me laugh everyday. My parents are so giving and are always there to help us with whatever we need. I gave my dad a picture of a headboard I wanted and yesterday he had it built and at my house. Now he is working on matching end tables and a table for our entry way. He is so talented. We went to Parowan today and my mom taught me how to make pies for Thanksgiving. She is so talented and everyday I pray that I will be blessed with a little of her talents and creativity. I have great sisters who really are my best friends. After losing Heidi I realized how important they are to me and how much there friendship means to me. I love having them there to support me and save me when I need it and I know I can always count on them.

I am just so thankful for my crazy life and wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving from our family!!

Sum up the week!!

Monday- Grandpa's funeral, so nice and so sad. Hard to watch my kids process what was happening.

Tuesday- Took Averie all the way up to Primary children's Med center for a 45 min appointment to learn that they know nothing! Get home at 11:30 and have meetings Wednesday morning at 7:30 which would be fine for me but the kids have to be up early and to the babysitter by 7:15.

Wednesday-late to my meeting because I felt bad that I had to get the kids up so I let them sleep till 6:45 instead of 6:15, back to school to my classes who had a sub for 2 days and are now crazy, meeting after school with my University team to work on our paper, finished my homework for my masters classes.

Thursday-find out that my hairdresser has been arrested for importing illegals into the country and will be spending a minimum of 3 years in a federal prison in San Diego! Really hairdresser what where you thinking!!!! Take all 3 kids to the dentist for their 6 month checkups and Maddux has his first cavity that they had to fix while we were there, take all 3 kids to Costco by myself..that's always an adventure.

Friday-Wayne goes on call, find out that Maddux has fallen and may have broken his arm. To tired to work on anything so I saved it for Saturday, it was going to be a better day.

Saturday-take Maddux to the instacare and find out that he has broken his arm, spend the afternoon trying to convince him to keep the soft cast on, make sour cream enchiladas for dinner, get homework folders together for next week, at the dinner table Maddux barfs all over his plate and the table, this was the first meal I had cooked all week! Is it the flu?? We will soon find out.

Tomorrow??? I know I will be filling out 36 report cards for SEPs next week and working on my paper and math homework that is due on Thursday, will I be cleaning up barf all day?? We will soon find out. I think I will go lay in bed and watch a movie because Wayne just got called out and who knows how long he will be gone and tomorrow will be a better day RIGHT??
