Playing in Snow with Papa

We just got back from Parowan today and the kids had so much fun. They were able to spend some time sledding and papa put some corn in the backyard so at night they could watch the deer eating. Maddux of course tried to shoot them, there was a 3 point, 4 point, and a two point and some others.

The kids also made snow angels, the girls knew what to do but Maddux was funny when he tried to copy them.

Alisha and her kids were there with us so the kids were able to play together.

Thanks Papa and Nana for letting us crash at your house for a few days!! We love you and can't wait to come do it again.

Christmas Eve

Christmas went by so fast I haven't had time to blog about anything. Here are a few pictures of things we did. I know that the pictures are in a crazy order I had a hard time getting them to post and this is the best I could do tonight so sorry. I know that Averies picture is turned and I don't know how to fix it.

On Christmas eve Santa comes and gives each kid their own PJ's to open and wear to bed.

The kids were all excited to see him and get their new PJ's and slippers.

My family and Wayne's mom and Step Dad spent Christmas eve with us. We had dinner and played games. I love this time of year and being with family and just seeing the excitement in the kids eyes.

The kids had a fun night and put out treats for Santa before they went to bed.

Averie in a panic

What sends Averie into a panic?

She came into the house last Saturday so upset and crying. She said "mom Malie said if I stare at a dead cockroach for to long I will no longer be a girley girl I will just be a regular girl for 2 hours". She was so upset. She doesn't want to be a regular girl, the thought of that just sends her over the edge.

Why is she so mad in this picture? She doesn't like her shoes and wants to wear her black boots.
