Neighborhood Easter Egg Hunt 2010

What do you do with to many hot dogs at an Easter egg hunt? You have a hot dog eating contest? The pictures are in the wrong order from how the day went but I am so far behind on my blogging that I don't want to take the time to fix it.

Wayne at the BBQ

After the hunt the kids sat around eating more candy then hot dogs but its Easter so who cares.

Malie and Noah with their eggs

Maddux and Brody finding the eggs

The older kids lined up here and the younger kids lined up a few houses down so they didn't get ran over.

Christmas

On Christmas Eve we always have dinner at our house. Heathers family and My parents came over for dinner and games. Heather came up with our Pictionary game this year and we were drawing some interesting things (North pole on fire???). Santa came and brought the kids a present which is always their PJ's.

They have to sit on his lap and take a picture each year!

Maddux was so sad when he left because all he got was PJ's and he had asked him for a remote control truck.

The next morning came with his remote control truck, and the girls got their DSI's and American Girl stuff.

Wayne and I also surprised them with a tramp. Santa can't bring all the good gifts! I do love Christmas more than any other Holiday! I can't wait to see whats in store for us next year.

Malies first concert

Malie joined the school choir this year. She loves it! This requires her to be to the school by 7:45 on Tuesdays and Thursdays so we all have to get up a few minutes earlier to get ready so we can be there early but well worth it when you see how great they are. Her grandma and grandpa Harris were on their way through town and were able to stop and see her perform. She will be having another concert in the spring and we can't wait to see her. I also took some video of it and if I can figure out how to post that I will.

November

This is just a summary of our November month. Maddux goes to preschool and come home with this pilgrim outfit. He loved it. He even packed it and took it to Parowan to show his grandparents.

The kids played in the snow and as you can see they played until they wore the snow out.

Wayne and I both celebrate our birthdays in November. All I wanted for my birthday is to lay around and read. As you can tell by the picture I didn't even bother to put makeup. Hey its my birthday or as I like to call it "My special day" Wayne made me breakfast in bed, entertained the kids all day, made dinner and a coconut cream pie for my birthday.

Wayne isn't into his "special day" so I made sure he had his cheese cake, made treats and ordered him the fights and he had a guys night at the house. His was way easier than mine.

Halloween

I love Halloween. I don't know if its because my mom was always such a freak about Halloween or what but I love it. This year I decided it would be fun to throw a neighborhood Halloween party.

So I got some neighbors to help put it together with me and we assigned everyone food, Wayne cooked hot dogs, and had them come up with a game to do in their driveway. The kids went around and played the games, had some treats and had a lot of fun.

The kids had fun carving their pumpkins and getting their candy loot!

Mexico 2010

Oh life on a cruise, towel animals, no laundry, no cleaning, no cooking. Coming back to reality is hard.

On our trip we went on a zip line/repelling in the jungles of Puerto Vallarta. They don't let you take pictures on the trip because you are in the water but we took these on the boat on our way to the jungle and when we got to the village. They had this amazing lagoon where the kids were swimming and catching fish.

It was so pretty. Wayne and Dustin went swimming while we were waiting for the boat to come back and get us.

There were some huge houses all along the edge of the water.

In Cabo we went to a resort and they we sat on their beach and ordered food and swam.

The water was so warm and nice to swim in because it was really hot that day

The view from the boat before we left, just as the sun was setting.

Enjoying the weather in the evening on the boat

The shopping in Mexico is fun and annoying. Good deals but I get sick of being asked what I want.

Formal night dinner

Eating lunch at Johnny Rockets on the boat.
